TIRUNELVELI: In a strange affair, a school teacher eloped with her 16-year-old student in Kadayanallur recently.
Sources said, a 26-year-old teacher of a Government-aided school in the locality developed an affair with a student of the same school.
The boy used to go to the teacher’s house for tuition. On March 31, he left home telling his mother that he was going for tuition but never returned.
The parents later came to know that boy had withdrawn `10,000 from his father’s bank account. Meanwhile, they came to know that the teacher was also missing. An elopement case has been registered.
