Arivu Returns to Vellore Prison Hale and Hearty

VELLORE:Clad in a white V-neck T-shirt and jeans and carrying a black bag, the 43-year-old A G Perarivalan (alias Arivu, one of the life convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi killing case, returned on Friday afternoon to the Vellore Central Prison for Men that has been his home for 17 years.

Arivu, who was fondly called ‘education minister’ by other inmates, has been brought from the Puzhal Central Prison to Vellore Prison under tight security.

He was shifted to the Rajiv Gandhi General Government Hospital to treat his urinary track infection and back ache on June 6.
