PUDUCHERRY: The employees of Puducherry Agro Products Food and Civil Supplies Corporation (PAPSCO) on Tuesday staged a protest, demanding disbursement of wage arrears. Also, they barged into the main office at Thattanchavadi and raised slogans against the chairman Tamilselvane, who is also a sitting AINRC MLA.
The employees said that CM N Rangasamy had assured them that a new MD would be appointed. However, Tamilselvane, who has not been attending office for some time, made a sudden appearance in office on Monday evening triggering protest by nearly 100 workers.
