Flight Cancelled Due to Bird Hit

COIMBATORE:  An Air Costa flight from Bengaluru suffered a bird hit as it was landing at the Coimbatore International Airport on Tuesday evening due to which the aircraft developed some technical problems. The flight, which had to leave for Bengaluru with 60 passengers at 6.30 pm, had to be cancelled. While 30 of the passengers were provided tickets on another flight, the others were repaid their fare. The snag was corrected on Wednesday, after which the aircraft left for Bengaluru.
