COIMBATORE: The city police have lodged a case against a mill supervisor here allegedly for indulging into a a physical relationship with a girl from Tuticorin, on assurances of marrying her.
Police sources said that S Somasundaram from Anjugam Nagar in Udayampalayam, worked as supervisor in a mill in Narasimhanaickenpalayam.
Somasundaram had developed a relationship, involving physical intimacy, with a girl from Tuticorin who used to work in the mill.
Somasundaram had allegedly promised to marry the girl but later, refused to honour his promise.
Based on a complaint from the girl, All Women Police registered a case and are investigating.
