COIMBATORE: Pollachi west police arrested a 47-year-old man for possessing marijuana from Pollachi New Bus Stand on Tuesday. The arrested has been identified as C Karuppiah from Theni.
Karuppiah was heading to Kerala from Pollachi New Bus Stand, taking with him six-kilograms of marijuana in a bag at aroiund 4.30 am. Police arrested him as he was found roaming suspiciously at the bus stand during the early morning hours.
The value of the seized ganja is estimated to be around Rs 30,000. Pollachi West police have registered a case.
