CHENNAI:Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday condoled the death of film producer and a star speaker of the party, AS Ibrahim Rawther. In a statement here, she said Rawther had been delivering speeches highlighting the achievements of the State government, effectively thwarting the misleading campaign of the opposition parties. She also conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family. Meanwhile, on behalf of her, State Ministers B Valarmathi, KT Rajenthra Bhalaji and S Abdul Rahim paid homage to the mortal remains of Rawther at his residence.
