COIMBATORE: Two persons snatched a 5-sovereign chain from a woman along the Vadavalli-Marudhamalai Road on Thursday evening. S Sathyapriya (39) from Linganur Road, Vadavalli, had dropped her daughter at a tuition centre and was returning home on her two-wheeler, when the bike-borne miscreants snatched her chain. However, she held on to it. Thus, the men fled with half portion of the chain.
