PUDUCHERRY: The administration will begin the distribution of free mixies and grinders once the Lt Governor Ajay Kumar Singh gives his nod, Chief Minister N Rangasamy said on Sunday. He also hinted that free laptops would be distributed to students from July 31. The government had come in for criticism from the opposition for not disbursing the laptops from July 15, the birth anniversary of Kamaraj. The students too had resorted to agitations, pressing the demand.
Meanwhile, officials showed the CM the model of card board packages, in which the mixies and grinders are being packed.
