Give us Vote for Transparent government, says Ramadoss

VELLORE: PMK founder, Dr S Ramadoss has called upon his party’s cadres to go to the people with the promise to free Tamil Nadu from the menace of liquor, corruption and spiralling prices of commodities at the party’s general body meeting of the Vellore unit on Tuesday, preparing them for the 2016 assembly elections.

“The socio-economic development of the state has been affected for the past several decades,” he told them.

“We made a big mistake of opting for alliance with Dravidian parties in the past 27 years. We are clear now and as people are getting disillusioned with the ruling parties we will all strive to provide good governance to people of this state,” he said. The Chief minister designate Dr Anbumani Ramadoss has prepared a blueprint for putting the state back on the development path and the details of which should be explained to everyone when you canvass, he added. The DMK and AIADMK, he said have failed to provide good governance with transparency and accountability.

“Their gimmicks will not work in this election as today’s voters are enlightened and they are capable of identifying good and bad. They look at Anbumani as a hero and others as comedians,” he told them.

PMK when voted to power will bring to legislation Lok Ayukta and Right to Services. Ramadoss said that PMK has plans for holistic development of the state to provide free education, free health care on par with international standards.

“The focus will be on education and training for all youth that weeds out unemployment,” he pointed out saying that PMK will make the youth productive.

PMK will focus on high-tech agriculture, reverse migration of people from urban to rural areas which will benefit every family in the state, he added.
