DHARMAPURI:A 61-year-old man was arrested after he beheaded his daughter-in-law at Kuthalahalli in the district on Friday. Police said, Ramesh (35), son of Subramani, had married Ananthi (25) seven years ago. The couple has a four-year-old daughter. Four years ago, Ramesh married Saranya. This resulted in quarrels between Ramesh and Ananthi.” On Friday morning, Ananthi walked out of the house after an argument. Subramani followed her up to the Kothalahalli bus stop and tried to convince her to return home. But Ananthi refused and this enraged Subramani, who beheaded her with a pickaxe, police said.
