Jaya Returns From Kodanad to Chennai

CHENNAI: Chief Minister and AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa on Sunday returned to Chennai after discharging her duties from Kodanadu for a brief period. On her way back to Chennai, six of her party candidates who were successful in the Kerala local body elections met the Chief Minister and received her blessings at Coimbatore. The party candidates who met the AIADMK supremo were Helen Amalotpava Mary, J Sriranjani, M Saraswathi, Bagyalakshmi, K L Balakrishnan and S Praveena, who won as ward numbers. State Minister S P Velumani, who was in charge of Kerala local body polls, besides Kerala AIADMK secretary Srinivasan were present on the occasion.
