DINDIGUL:Police arrested a person who allegedly attacked his one-year-old daughter during an altercation with his wife. The girl died not responding to treatment.
According to sources, the accused identified as Saravanan from Krishnagiri came to Palani along with his wife Vediammal and his one-year-old daughter Rajeswari on October 31. They were staying in a private lodge at Palani.
Meanwhile, an altercation broke out between the couple during which Saravanan allegedly attacked his daughter. Rajeswari sustained injuries in the incident and Vediammal rushed her to a hospital in Krishnagiri. However, the child died after six days of treatment.
