VELLORE: While inaugurating Library Week celebrations on Sunday at the District Library, School Education minister, K C Veeramani called upon the youth to take to reading books by making use of libraries. He also inaugurated a special room for students (non-members) who are not able to study at home. Awarding prizes to student winners of various competitions conducted by the district library office, the minister hailed the role of libraries in spreading social awareness and said that the best libraries will be identified and certificates of appreciation will be given to them across the district.
