48th Library Week Observed

VELLORE: The Katpadi Gandhinagar library observed National Library Week on Monday. According to vice president of the Readers’ Circle attached to the Library, this was the 48th year that Library week has been observed by the members of the circle. He said that students of the Kripananda Wariar Government Higher Secondary school in Kangeyanallur, Don Bosco Higher Secondary school and Auxilium Higher Secondary School received prizes for their performance in the various competitions organised by the Readers’ Circle recently. The library has 32,000 plus books, 854 members and 185 patrons. Over 150 persons use the library books daily.
