Math Talent Test Put Off to November 29

VELLORE: A Math Talent Test that was to be conducted by the District Science Centre on November 22 has been postponed to November 29 because of the rains. According to the District Science officer J R Pazhaniswami, the test was to commemorate the birth anniversary of math genius Srinivasa Ramanujam which falls on December 22. The test will be held at the District Science Centre for students of the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th standards between 11 am and 12.30 noon for  90 minutes. The test would be on basic mathematics pattern recognition, the district science officer added.
