Students' Rally on Constitution Day Organised

PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister N Rangasamy flagged off a rally to mark the Constitution Day here on Thursday. Speaker V Sabapathy and Minister for Welfare P Rajavelu took part.

As many as 500 higher secondary school students, scouts and guides and NSS volunteers took part in the rally, which commenced at the Beach Road and ended near the Gandhi Statue.

In a separate function, Chief Secretary Manoj Parida administered the Constitution pledge to the employees of the Chief Secretariat here, while the directors of all the departments administered the oath to the staff of the departments to mark the occasion.
