CHENNAI: WITH the winter session of Parliament beginning on Wednesday, DMK MP Kanimozhi said her party members in both the Houses will raise key issues concerning Tamil Nadu.
Talking to reporters at the airport here on Tuesday, she said, "We will raise key issues relating to the state in Parliament to draw the attention of the Centre."
She added that Cauvery River water row and the attacks on Tamil Nadu fishermen and impounding of their fishing boats by the Sri Lankan forces would be brought to the attention of the House.
The issue over bringing back Jallikattu is another key issue that would be raised, the Rajya Sabha MP said.
Also, the Centre's demonetisation and its impact might also be raised in the House.
