Prince of Arcot calls on CM Panneerselvam

He urged the government to implement more beneficial schemes for the poor and downtrodden.

CHENNAI: Prince of Arcot Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali called on Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam at the Secretariat on Wednesday. It was a courtesy call and he was accompanied by Nawabzada Mohammed Asif Ali, heir-apparent and Dewan to the Prince.

He urged the government to discharge their duties and responsibilities with utmost dignity and decorum and introduce and implement more beneficial schemes, particularly for the poor and downtrodden.

The Prince extended an invitation to the CM to visit his ancestral historic home, Amir Mahal, at a reception in his honour.
