CHENNAI: Preliminary selection of candidates from Chennai, Kanchipuram and Tiruvallur Districts who applied online on joinindianarmy.nic.in for UES-27 will be carried out on January 23 and 24, 2017 at SRM University Campus, Kattankulathur.
Applicants from SRM University, Hindustan University and Dr MGR University from the three districts would be screened on January 23. The rest from these districts would be screened on January 24. Candidates must bring with them a copy of the printout of the application duly signed and affixed with self attested photograph, self attested copy of matriculation or equivalent certificate for age proof, self attested copy of 12th class certificate and mark sheet, self attested copy of engineering degree/ provisional degree certificate, self attested copy of mark sheet of all semesters, certificate from the principal/ head of the institution stating that the candidate is in pre-final year and likely to complete engineering degree by July 1, 2018 (as in online application form) and equivalence certificate of the concerned university to claim equivalence to the notified stream (if applicable) along with two passport size color photographs.
All documents / certificates are required in original and would be returned back after screening. The screening board would consist of Director Recruiting, Army Recruiting Office (HQ) Chennai and two more officers.
