CHENNAI: CPM State secretary G Ramakrishnan, CPI secretary R Mutharasan, MDMK general secetary Vaiko, TNCC president S Thirunavukkarasar and VCK president Thol Thirumavalavan on Saturday condemned the petrol bomb attack on the CPM’s office at Gandhipuram in Coimbatore.

They demanded that stern action be taken against those involved in the crime. The leaders also said that recently the CPM office at Kanniyakumari was also attacked.

“Communal forces are trying to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu using the present political situation and are trying to use violence as a means. The State government should not give room for that,” they said.
