CHENNAI: Thanga Thamizh Selvan, Andipatti constituency MLA and a supporter of TTV Dhinakaran, clashed with Speaker P Dhanapal two times and once, he walked out of the House.

During the question hour, Thanga Thamizh Selvan asked for an opportunity to raise a question with the Health Minister. The Speaker said he would give him an opportunity another time. A visibly upset Selvan insisted on granting the opportunity immediately. The Speaker said, “You can’t pressure the Chair in this manner.” Then, the MLA walked out of the House. Dhinakaran’s other supporters didn’t extend him support. Later, when MK Stalin and Minister KA Sengottaiyan made remarks against each other and the latter asked Speaker to expunge both their remarks, Selvan protested and said something. The Speaker warned him and expunged whatever Selvan spoke.
