CHENNAI: The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has requested depositors who had invested in Sneham Group of Companies to visit the EOW Headquarters at Guindy with valid documents in case they have not received refund of the deposited amount.
In a press note, the police said the CA/DRO, Chennai (Competent Authority/District Revenue Officer) had sold assets of Sneham Group for `5.85 crore. This comes after a case was registered against the group of companies by EOW under TNPID Act.
To facilitate easy refund of money to depositors, the CA/DRO has asked depositors to provide the required documents at the office of the Inspector of Police, Rekha, at EOW II headquarters which is located at the old SIDCO building, Corporate Complex in Guindy.
The documents include original deposit slip with a photocopy of the same, identity card (Aadhaar card, voters card, ration card) and a pass book photocopy.
