Slew of DSP transfers across Tamil Nadu

81 transfers in all; Kalaiselvan becomes ACP, intel, Greater Chennai

CHENNAI: As many as 81 Deputy Superintendents of Police and Assistant Commissioners of Police were transferred on Friday. P Kalalselvan, DSP, OCIU, South Zone at Madurai, was transferred as ACP, Intelligence Section, Greater Chennai Police in place of ACP R Sushilkumar, who was transferred as DSP, Railway Police, Central, Chennai.

Sushilkumar replaced DSP V Gunasekaran, who was transferred as ACP, Anna Nagar Range. He stepped into the shoes of ACP K Chandrasekaran, who was transferred to the Traffic Investigation Wing, West, Greater Chennai Police. R Subramanl, ACP, Guindy Range, was transferred as DSP, Railway Police, Tiruchy in an existing vacancy.

K Muthu Kumar, (Dir), ASP, Town (L&O), Madurai has been transferred as ASP, Intelligence Section, Greater Chennai Police in an existing vacancv.

T Eswaran, (Dlr) DSP, Virudhachalam SD,  has been transferred as ACP, Tambaram Range. He replaces T loganathan, who has been transferred as ACP, Modern Control Room, Greater Chennai Police and takes the post occupied by K P S Devaraj, who has been transferred as ACP, Pallavaram Range. R Vimalan has been transferred as ACP, Vepery Range replacing V Vinoth Santharam, who has been moved as ACP, Royapettah Range, who replaced V Kavikumar, who is the new DSP/ Vigilance Officer, Greater Chennai Corporation. Kavikumar took the post hitherto occupied by DSP S Muthukumar, who is now ACP, Social Justice & Human Rights, Chennai city replacing R Alagesan, who has been transferred as ACP, MKB Nagar Range.

G Kumar will be the new ASP, Nungambakkam Range replacing C Tholkappian, who has been transferred as ACP, Modern Control Room, Greater Chennai Police replacing P Asokan, ACP, transferred to Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police.

V Ponramu is the new ACP, Anti-Land Grabbing Special Cell (CCB), Greater Chennai Police.
G Muthumanickam will be the new ACP, Villivakkam Range in place of C Jaya Singh, who is now the ACP, Central Crime Branch, Greater Chennai Police.
