Governor Kiran Bedi says will implement PM Modi's mantra for governance in Puducherry

PUDUCHERRY: Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today said that the territorial government would implement Prime Minister Narendra Modi's new 'mantra' for governance, "Human touch, efficiency and innovation."

In her twitter handle, she said the Puducherry government would implement the 'mantra' (guidelines) to help the union territory and its people.

She said she had circulated the newspaper clippings containing the message of the Prime Minister to all the Secretaries of government departments, the Director General of Police with simultaneous intimation to Chief Minister and his cabinet colleagues.

The Prime Minister has stressed on the need to add human touch to governance, revamp office memorandum-circular system and make top officers spend five to six days a month in the field.
