Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation changes grievance redressal programme in Tamil Nadu

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (Ministry of Labour & Employment, Govt. of India) has transformed its grievance redressal programme, Bhavishya Nidhi Adalat, into a broad-based and participatory programme called ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ or ‘PF Near You’ for wider consultation amongst all stake-holders along with the platform for grievance redressal, said a statement issued by M Kumaravel, Assistant PF Commissioner, Public Grievances Handling System on May 31.

The platform is a common one that will facilitate the exchange of ideas and dissemination of information along with grievance redressal, the statement said. The 35th ‘Nidhi Aapke Nikat’ or ‘PF Near you’ programme will be conducted on June 11 at EPFO, Regional Office, Ambattur: Employee Providednt Fund Organistaion, 3rd Floor, R-40A TNHB office complex, Mogappair Road, Mogappair (East), Chennai 600037.

The time schedule for the stakeholders covered under the jurisdiction of the office is as follows; (i) Employees: 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. (ii) Employers: 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. (iii) Exempted establishment located in this office jurisdiction: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
