Tamil Nadu governor Banwaril Puroihit to visit Namakkal tomorrow

He would receive petitions in connection with the grievances of the public, political parties and representatives of public service organizations and others.

NAMAKKAL: Amid growing protests, Tamilnadu governor Banwaril Puroihit will visit Namakkal on Thursday to listen the grievances of the people.

In a press release, Namakkal Collector M Asiamariam stated that the governor would come to Namakkal on Thursday and the next day, from 11.30 to 12.30 pm, at the collectorate campus, he would receive petitions in connection with the grievances of the public, political parties and representatives of public service organizations and others.

Those who want to give petitions to governor may come to collectorate on Friday. Whenever the governor visited to various districts in state, the opposition parties including DMK, Congress, PMK etc., staged demonstration.

In Namakkal, the district in-charge Ex-MP S Ghandhi Selvan said to Express, he along with his party members and alliance parties planned to wave black flag against governor. On the other hand, the police officials also have been monitoring the whole city and giving tight security from now itself.
