Asked whether any more parties would be accommodated in the AIADMK-led front, Jayalalithaa said: “For us, the present alliance is sufficient.”

On the election plank of the AIADMK, she said,  “Already I have announced that our slogan for the election would be ‘Peace, Prosperity and Progress’. Further details would be revealed in our election manifesto to be released soon.”

On her birthday, the AIADMK chief said her message to the people of Tamil Nadu is: “Cooperate with us and work for peace, prosperity and progress of not only Tamil Nadu but the entire Nation.”

Responding to a question, Jayalalithaa said “My concentration will be on Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and winning the 40 seats. So my efforts will be concentrated here.”

Asked if she would seek a special package for Tamil Nadu on the lines of some states, she shot back “This government? This government is on its way out. We will get whatever we want from a new government that will probably take charge in June.”
