HYDERABAD: The TDP membership drive in Telangana State will be held till December 20. Telangana TDP leaders on Monday met party chief N Chandrababu Naidu at his residence and asked him to extend the party membership drive in Telangana till December 20 as they could not take up the party programme on a large scale due to the Assembly sessions which ended recently. Naidu agreed to the proposal and asked the leaders to take up the membership drive across nook and corner of Telangana and ensure that more number of people take up party membership.

Meanwhile, the party leaders also elaborated about the manner in which the Assembly session went on and how the ruling party bulldozed the voice of Opposition. The TTDP leaders also told their party president that the main opposition party, the Congress, failed to live up to the expectations of an opposition party and failed to raise people’s problems in the sessions.
