Any crime which is committed using cyber technology including e-mail, Facebook, WhatsApp can be called a cyber crime. You must have heard about illegal money transfers and online banking frauds. They are the most frequent cyber crimes. Anybody who is capable of finding loopholes in the websites, computer programs and solving cyber crimes is an expert in this field.

Anybody who aspires to become a cyber crime expert must be curious and have passion for computer programming. When it comes to education qualifications, any Bachelors degree masters in computer science is enough to join in most of the cyber crime and ethical hacking courses.
Do any of the government universities or colleges offer these courses or where can we find good institutes to learn ethical hacking?
I am not sure of those in Hyderabad, but MNIT in Allahabad, Anna University in Tamil Nadu and few private institutes in Pune, Mumbai offer diploma and masters level courses in ethical hacking.
You also offer some courses in ethical hacking. Can you tell us something about us?
Yes, I in partnership with some private education companies including Reliance and Talent Edge who offer diploma courses in ethical hacking.
What is training involved in these courses?
In these course the students get to experience real life situations in the field of cyber crime. We conduct online theory classes in the classrooms which include video conferences with the experts and live demonstration of solving online fraud cases. At the end of every week, we conduct online tests to check the level of learning. This will help them to evaluate themselves.
Finally, tell us about how are the career opportunities in ethical hacking? Does it offer good earnings like software jobs?
Ethical hacking is one of the fastest growing filed in India and it has huge demand here. I can’t get the accurate details of earnings, but I am sure that ethical hackers get to earn more than regular computer programmers and software engineers.
