HYDERABAD: The TS Genco’s Yadadri power project is again coming up before the re-constituted expert appraisal committee on Thermal Power Plants on April 26.
The committee will take up Yadadri thermal power plant as its first agenda for consideration of environmental clearance to the project. Earlier, the EAC raised doubts over the project and refused to give environmental clearance. The EAC wanted to know water allotment, coal linkage and other issues.
“Now, we are providing all the relevant information to the EAC on April 26. We hope that it will clear Yadadri project,” an official in Energy department said. TS Genco’s Yadadri supercritical coal based thermal power project will come up at Veerlapalem in Nalgonda district.
