HYDERABAD: The stage is all set for holding the World Telugu Conference in the city on a grand scale from December 15 to December 19. The event, to be inaugurated by Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, is expected to be attended by more than 8,000 Telugu lovers from India and abroad. The conference will begin with an invocation to Saraswati, the Goddess of Learning: ‘Saraswati Namastubhyam, Varade Kaamarupinee, Vidyarambham Karishyami...’.

Cultural programmes should be held at the main venue on all the five days. Every connoisseur of literature and language should get a message that anybody wishing to attend the conference is welcome,” he added.
