RAJANNA-SIRCILLA: Notorious persons Annaboina Tirupathi Yadav (33) and Annaboina Nagarjuna Yadav (27) who killed their father Yellaiah in 2011, were arrested on Sunday at Venkampet road in Sircilla town for having illegal arms.
Sircilla police seized two dummy pistols, one revolver, one air gun and pallets, 3 talwars, one stick knife, 2 knifes and one steel rod. They belonged to Sahabshpalli in Boinpalli mandal.
Speaking to media persons, Sircilla DSP P Sudhakar said that due to family disputes, the duo hacked their father to death. In order to threaten and create panic among people and their enemies, they are keeping arms in their vehicle, the DSP revealed.
In the past the duo had also applied for gun license, but in view of their background, the authorities rejected their application.
Tirupathi Yadav aka AT Yadav in the past worked as Sabhashpalli sarpanch too. He did not allow new persons into the village and with his arrest, people are expressing their happiness.
All the arms have been seized from their Innova and Honda city vehicles and they have been arrested under Section 25 (1) (a) Arms Act and other Sections.
