TDP to hold protests against TRS over failed promises 

The party is planning to hold demonstrations across the State on issues such as non-construction of double bedroom houses to weaker sections, fee reimbursement issue, farmers’ suicides.

HYDERABAD: TDP has decided to undertake more agitations on people’s issues and on unfulfilled promises of the ruling TRS. In order to formulate an action plan in this regard, the party state executive will meet under the leadership of L Ramana, party state unit president, at NTR Bhavan here on Saturday.

Party TS unit general secretary M Amarnath Babu said here on Friday that they were planning to hold a series of protest demonstrations across the state on issues such as non-construction of double bedroom houses to weaker sections, fee reimbursement issue, farmers’ suicides.

“Our parties frontal organisations will lead these protests on their respective issues. During tomorrow’s meeting, we will finalise a schedule for the protests,” he added.
In another press meet, TDP senior leader Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy asked the state government to correct the deficiencies in government schools.
