Meeting decides on conducting party mandal, district level executive committee meetings

BHADRACHALAM: Targeting the 2019 general elections, BJP state office bearers meeting has decided to strengthen the party from the booth level in the State.

The two-day BJP state office bearer’s meeting begun in the temple town of Bhadrachalam under the leadership of party state president Dr K Laxman.

During the meeting, it was decided to conduct party mandal and district level executive committee meetings on a regular basis and also complete the process of appointing booth level committees.
The executive meeting also discussed upon the party organisational issues and future plans. It was decided that on the occasion of the party founder Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s 100th birth anniversary on February 11, training should be imparted to selected party workers and their services should be utilised for strengthening the party’s base in Telangana.

Later in the day, while addressing the meeting, Laxman alleged that the state government is resorting to vote bank politics for which they have brought up the Muslim reservation issue.
Laxman stated that the party would object reservations for Muslims legally and politically as it is against the Constitution.

Also speaking on the occasion, BJP national secretary P Muralidhar Rao said that the party would win the ensuing assembly elections to be held in five states across the country.
Meanwhile, speaking on the issue of demonetisation, Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya described the Central government’s move of scrapping the higher denomination notes as historic decision. Demonetisation would be useful in putting the financial system of the country on the right track.

Dattatreya also said that with demonetisation, the economicaly backward, farmers, women and dalit would be benefitted. He said that in the coming days many good decisions would be taken which would benefit the poor in the country.
