WARANGAL: In what is suspected to be a revenge killing, a TRS corporator of Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC) was hacked to death by three assailaints on Thursday evening.
The trio entered the house of Anishetty Murali (46) and, even before he could react or retaliate, attacked him with hunting sickles, causing his instant death. Later, the assailants  surrendered to the Hanamkonda police.

Murali was ruling party’s corporator of 44th division and resident of Kumarpally in Hanamkonda. He was TDP’s Warangal Urban president before joining the TRS.  According to police, the main assailant was  identified as B Vikram alias Chinna and the other two were as his friends Vishal and Chiranjeevi.  Initial investigation by the Hanamkonda police suggested that the killing might have been an outcome of a long pending feud between Murali’s family with another politician.
