HYDERABAD: Informing that the Goods and Services Tax (GST) would into force in the country from July 1, Union finance minister Arun Jaitley thanked TS Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for cooperating the passage of GST Bill.
In a letter to the CM, he said the GST has become possible due to the cooperation of all political parties and state governments. He wanted the CM to conduct awareness meetings on GST for MPs and MLAs.
Meanwhile, KCR thanked Union minister for environment Harsh Vardhan for according forest clearance to Kaleshwaram project. Rao said he would meet the Union minister personally during his Delhi tour.
