TRS workers unhappy with nominated posts list

WARANGAL: The TRS meet, called to discuss about improving coordination among party leaders and workers of erstwhile Warangal district, turned into a stage to pacify party workers who did not find their names in the recently announced nominated posts list. The recent appointment of 45 grassroots level workers for various nominated posts had left many dissatisfied.

Senior leaders including deputy Chief Minister Kadiyam Srihari, tourism minister Azmeera Chandulal, Karimnagar MP B Vinod Kumar and Mahabubabad MP Seetharam Naik tried to pacify party workers who did not get nominated posts by assuring to include them in the next list.
Taking the lead Kadiyam Srihari said, “Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao is aware of everything. All those who worked for the party would be rewarded,” he assured.

Stating that expecting post in a democratic set up was not incorrect, the deputy CM said, “Warangal got the lion’s share in the allotment of nominated posts. Warangal got 12 corporation chairman and 5 directors posts. As Warangal played vital role in the TS movement, CM is rewarding more number of people from the district.” Vinod Kumar asked party workers to have patience as sooner or latter they would get their due.

However, Wardhanapeta MLA A Ramesh complained: “We have been waiting for last three years for the nominated post. I am hurt that my constituency workers are not being considered. I expect the party high command to give some posts to us next time.”
