HYDERABAD: Even as there is a much political commotion over the suspension of two TDP MLAs from the state Assembly for the entire budget session, all the five BJP legislators were suspended from the House in a similar manner for two days on Friday,  leading to rare camaraderie between the Congress and BJP members who are normally poles apart.

Speaker S Madhusudana Chary cracked the whip on the BJP members when they were disrupting the proceedings of the House in protest against government’s proposal to provide 12 pc reservation to Muslims in education and employment.

Interestingly, this development made the two national parties, Congress and BJP which are at loggerheads with each other at national level, join hands with each other to take on the ruling TRS, a regional party.

Soon after suspension of the BJP members from the House, Congress members led by leader of the opposition K.Jana Reddy staged a walkout.
