Temperature drops in parts of Telangana, but not normal yet

Hyderabad had some respite from the climbing mercury levels on Tuesday as the maximum temperature in the city dropped to 38.6 degree Celsius from the scorching 40 degree Celsius of Monday.

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad had some respite from the climbing mercury levels on Tuesday as the maximum temperature in the city dropped to 38.6 degree Celsius from the scorching 40 degree Celsius of Monday. However, it was not the case with other districts in Telangana where the temperature however about the 40 degree Celsius mark.

At Adilabad, the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.3 degree Celsius. It was 40.5 degree Celsius at Medak, 40.3 degree Celsius at Nizamabad and 39.5 degree Celsius at Mahbubnagar.

The India Meteorological Department said that the temperatures will continue to be 2-3 degree Celsius above normal for the next three days. Even at places where the temperature is above 40-41 degree Celsius, conditions will remain the same.
