Telangana tour: Amit Shah to lunch with Dalits

BJP national president Amit Shah will crisscross various places in Nalgonda during his three-day state tour, to begin on May 22, in order to know the pulse of various sections of voters.

HYDERABAD: BJP national president Amit Shah will crisscross various places in Nalgonda during his three-day state tour, to begin on May 22, in order to know the pulse of various sections of voters.
During the visit, aimed at strengthening the party at grassroots, Shah will visit remote corners of the district and will have community lunch with Dalits. According to BJP state unit chief K Laxman, Shah will arrive in Hyderabad on May 21 night, visit Munugode in Nalgonda on May 22 and tour Nagarjunasagar and Miryalguda on May 23. He will address party meetings in Nakrekal and Bhongir too.
After that, the Shah will take part in the party workers meet in Hyderabad on May 24. The meeting is aimed at wresting the Hyderabad seat from AIMIM. Shah will also meet party district unit presidents, during his visit to gear up the cadres for the next general elections.
