JAGTIAL/PATNA: Ever since the news of Pentaparti Surender’s suicide was broken to his mother, she has gone silent. Surender, who was doing his final-year B.Tech from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna, committed suicide on Wednesday. Sources said that no foul play was found in the suicide. Surender had allegedly committed suicide in a lodge at Golakpur in Patna on Wednesday after being disappointed over a low-pay package offered by a reputed company during campus placement.

Ammai, Surender’s mother, has spoken barely after she learnt about his death, say the family members. His father Malkaiah, who went to Gulf in search of employment, has rushed back to village after hearing about his son’s death.
