JNTU students stage dharna, demand principal’s suspension

Students from JNTU at Sultanpur village in Pulkal mandal of Sangareddy district held dharna against Principal Eshwar Prasad on Saturday at campus gate.

SANGAREDDY: Students from JNTU at Sultanpur village in Pulkal mandal of Sangareddy district held dharna against Principal Eshwar Prasad on Saturday at campus gate.Students allege that the principal was harassing the students and creating problems for them. They allege that principal, on Saturday, suspended fifteen students of final year without any valid reason in the name of discipline.

Today is the black day in the campus, they said, adding that they had taken the permission for ganesh immersion and principal leveling allegations that students violated the college rules by consuming alcohol which is not correct. They also alleged that they were facing many other problems in college and when they took issues to principal’s notice, he did not take any action.
