SURYAPET: “Janardhan’s family members always moved closely with neighbours and friends. They never had any issues with anyone of us,’’ said Saroja, a neighbour.
A few neighbours said that on knowing about their debts a few of them even lent a helping hand. “Everyday Janardhan goes for a walk between 5 am and 6 am, but on Monday we did not see him. The incident came to light, when none of the family members opened the door despite the milk man repeatedly knocked at it to deliver the milk. Later, he altered a few neighbours who broke open the door and found them dead.”
According to the neighbours, at least two unknown people would visit Suresh’s house everyday demanding to repay the loans. They added that Janardhan’s mother Ramulamma, who was staying with them was sent to Janardhan’s brother’s house the day before they committed suicide. Janardhan has one elder brother and three younger brothers. Except one younger brother, the rest reside in Suryapet.
