KHAMMAM: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Capt N Uttam Kumar Reddy has warned Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao against pursuing murder politics in the state.
The chief, while addressng Indiramma Rythu Bata programmes in Khammam and Suryapet on Thursday, condemned the brutal murder of Vemuri Srinivasu, the Mandal Youth Congress leader of Annapureddypally, allegedly by TRS leaders in Yerragunta on September 15.

He slammed local police for inaction and alleged that it was trying to shield the real culprits. A resolution condemning the murder was also passed in the meeting. Uttam Kumar Reddy, in his speech, blamed KCR for rising incidents of violence against Congress workers by activists of the ruling party. While TRS goons are carrying out attacks against Congress workers, police officials are not taking any action against the culprits.  “KCR must stop the politics of murder and violence. He cannot suppress the voice of Opposition workers using force,” he said.
