HYDERABAD: Maximum temperatures on Monday were recorded about 1 degree Celsius below normal across the state in all districts, including in Hyderabad where it was recorded at 38 degree Celsius, which is 0.4 degree Celsius below normal, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD). As per the IMD forecast, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are very likely to occur at isolated places in the state in the next three days. However, the highest temperature recorded in the state on Monday was at Bhadrachalam, at 40.8 degree Celsius, which is 1.4 degree Celsius above normal.

However, as per the weather report of Telangana state Development Planning Society(TSDPS) while the temperatures are expected to be normal on Tuesday, after that the maximum temperatures are expected to increase by 2-3 degree Celsius over the northern and eastern districts and remain in the range of 37-41 degree Celsius. Even the minimum temperatures are expected to be above normal by 2-3 degree Celsius, across the state.
