HYDERABAD:A division bench of the High Court on Tuesday permitted the petitioner to withdraw the PIL filed by him against Reliance Industries Limited on the ground that there was no sufficient information in the case. The bench was dealing with the petition filed by T Gangadhar complaining that the authorities concerned were not taking action against Reliance Industries for allegedly routing funds to dummy companies for buying a large quantity of its shares and thus causing loss to investors to the tune of Rs 27,000 crore. The bench said it appeared that the PIL was filed without complete information, and suggested that the petitioner file a case against the authorities for not providing information under the RTI Act.
