YADADRI: Sounding the bugle for the 2019 polls, BJP leaders led by party national general secretary P Muralidhar Rao and State unit chief K Laxman declared war against the ruling TRS in the State.
“K Chandrasekhar Rao government has become a forum for Telangana betrayers. All those who opposed formation of Telangana State and who never took part in the statehood agitation are now in the KCR’s Cabinet. Family interference, corruption and nepotism are the main characteristics of the TRS rule. BJP is the only party which can defeat the TRS in the 2019 polls,” Rao and Laxman, thundered.
“The claim of the TRS that TS has No. 1 State in the country is false. This government is working for 3Cs- Corruption, Commissions and Contractors. Congress Party is nowhere in the picture to question the misdeeds of the TRS. BJP is the only party which can taken on the pink party,” the two leaders said.
BJP leaders led by Laxman embarked on the first phase of Jana Chaithanya Bus Yathra from Yadadri, after offering prayers at Lord Sri Lakshmi Narsimha Swamy Temple here on Saturday. Then, Laxman started Yatra from Yadagirigutta to Bhongir and participated in a bike rally. Later, he addressed a public meeting, during which he said the people of Telangana were looking for change. They were ready to teach a fitting lesson to ruling party in the 2019 polls, he added. “KCR is running the government against wishes of Telangana people,” they said.
