NIZAMABAD: Civil rights activists, writers, journalists and intellectuals might be the ones to attempt and gear TS’ voters towards Congress, sources say.

If rumours are to be believed, many prominent Congress leaders, including former MP and AICC secretary in-charge for Karnataka Madhu Goud Yaskhi, have been approaching prominent persons in the ‘intellectual’ arena, including leaders of caste organisations, to gain their support in promoting the party ideology.

In fact, it is claimed that it is because of Yaskhi’s efforts in this line that revolutionary writer and singer Gaddar, along with his family, came out and expressed his support for the Congress party in the State. Sources claim that Yaskhi has now decided to concentrated in his own state, on bringing support from SC, ST, and BC to the party.
