HYDERABAD: With no other candidate in the fray after the scrutiny of nominations on Friday, senior TRS leader and former MP Gutha Sukhender Reddy has been unanimously elected to the lone State Legislative Council seat under the MLAs quota.
An official announcement to this effect will be made on August 19. Though one more candidate filed his nomination it was rejected due to lack of proposal from any MLA.
